Wedding Prices 2007/08

 

 

Thank you for your enquiry regarding holding your Wedding Reception here at the Raggalds. 

 

Here at the Raggalds we have a separate function room complete with its own private bar.  Our function suite can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated formal meal, and for your evening celebrations, up to 200 for an evening buffet and disco reception.

 

For your Wedding Breakfast and Reception please find enclosed the menus we have available.  Each meal or buffet menu is priced per person.  We are willing to amend our menus and if you wish to build your own menu, or have any special dietary requirements please feel free to contact us and we will endeavor to help best meet your needs.

 

In addition to the food menus, we have also enclosed a drinks selector for your consideration.  As with the food menus should you have any drink requirements not covered by our drinks selector please contact us so we can discuss these with you.

 

Our only requirement is that you cater for 50 or more guests for your Wedding Breakfast and 60 or more for your Evening Buffet.

 

If you require just a buffet, for example mid afternoon or early evening, then we request that you cater for 100 or more guests.

 

We are able to provide a DJ for you at a competitive rate.  However, if you wish to provide your own DJ/Entertainment you are more than welcome, however any you provide must have and be able to show their own insurance document.

(To help with your organisation this is a rough outline of the days proceedings.)

 

1.00pm – Church Ceremony

1.30pm – End of Ceremony

1.45pm – Photographs at the Church

2.00pm – Travel to the Raggalds

2.00pm – 2.45pm – Reception Drinks

2.50pm – Line up to receive guests

3.00pm – Sit down for Wedding Breakfast

3.00pm – 5.00pm – 3 or 4 Course meal

     Announcement of Speeches

5.00pm – Retire to main bar/lounge bar for the room to

               be prepared for the evening

7.00pm – Evening Guests Arrive

7.00pm-7.30pm – Disco Commences

9.00pm – Evening Buffet Served

12.30am – Bar Closes

1.00am – CLOSE

 

 

Times may vary depending upon the time of the service, distance from the church, number of courses ordered etc.

Terms & Conditions

 

We request that you read the following terms & conditions to ensure that they meet with your approval:

      All deposits are non refundable, in respect of a cancellation, irrespective of the reason for cancellation

      A provisional booking can be held for 14 days without obligation, otherwise it will be considered for another enquiry/booking

      The Raggalds will send an estimated account 60 days prior to the function date

      Payment in full must be made 30 days before the function

      Prices are correct at time of print but are subject to change

      VAT is included

      Payment for any extra’s on the day are subject to payment on the day of the event

 

Cancellation by the client

 

In the event of a function being cancelled it is subjected to the following charges:

Between:

      12 and 9 months            Loss of deposit

      6 and 9 months  Loss of deposit plus 25% value

      3 and 6 months  Loss of deposit plus 50% of value

      1 and 3 months  Loss of deposit plus 75% of value

      Less than 30 days          100% of value

 

All cancellations must be received in writing from the client.

Also:

      Please submit your numbers 30 days before the function to enable us to create an invoice

      Final numbers should be received no later than 10 days before the event

      No additional food or drink may be brought on to the premises other than already agreed beverages which are liable for a corkage charge

      If the party does not dine at the agreed time The Raggalds will not accept liability for food being spoilt

      The client is responsible for any damage to the property, in this event or extra cleaning incurred we reserve the right to make relevant charges

      The Raggalds does not accept any responsibility for any wedding gifts left unattended on the premises

      Children are welcome but we cannot accept any liability in the event of accidents and ask that all parents & guardians keep a close eye to ensure that children are contained in the area of the function.

      The Raggalds will not be liable for failure to comply with any terms and conditions of the agreement to the extent that such compliance is hindered by any cause beyond its control, including but not only fire, storm, flood or any act of God, government action, shortage of goods, strike or lock-out.

 

The Raggalds may cancel the event if:

      The booking may prejudice its reputation

      The account payment is not paid in full 30 days prior to the function, unless alternative arrangement has been made
